£ million
Agricultural and Food Research Council 1.5
Economic and Social Research Council 0.8
Medical Research Council 3.8
Natural Environment Research Council 0.8
Science and Engineering Research Council 7.5
British Museum (Natural History) 0.3
The Royal Society 0.3

In addition I am allocating a further £1.25 million in 1987–88, from within my programme, to the Natural Environment Research Council to reinforce the important and valuable work of the British Antarctic Survey. Supplementary Estimates for all the above expenditure will be presented in due course.
