Mr. William Shelton

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services who were the representatives of the proprietors of the Leigham Clinic in Leigham Court road, Streatham who met officials of his Department on 2 August 1985, in connection with alleged late abortions.

I suggest that my hon. Friend approach the proprietors direct.

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will publish the dates when his officials a percentage of the total of (a) Government contributions and (b) employers' contributions to the national insurance fund in 1979 and 1986; and what is his estimate of these contributions for each year until 1990, using Treasury assumptions.

Employers' contributions and the Treasury supplement to the national insurance fund in 1979–80, 1986–87 and 1987–88 (at 1987–88 prices), are as follows :

have inspected the Leigham Clinic in Leigham Court road, Streatham, during the last five years in connection with the Abortion Act.
