§ Dr. Owenasked the Secretary of State for Social Services how much it cost his Department to produce the document, "The Health Service in England Annual Report 1985–86"; how many copies have been printed and what were their production costs; and what were the comparable figures for the reports of each of the two previous years.
§ Mrs. CurrieThe printing costs and the number of copies printed for each of the three Health Service annual reports are set out in the table. The costs quoted included materials. The full printing costs, and distribution costs of sale copies, were borne by Her Majesty's Stationery Office 107W with recovery in the usual way from the proceeds of sales. It would not be possible to calculate the Departmental costs of preparation, promotion and distribution without disproportionate cost.
