§ Mr. Peter Griffithsasked the Secretary of State for Social Services what has been total National Health Service spending in monetary and real terms annually since 1974 (a) nationally, (b) for the Wessex regional health authority area and (c) following reorganisation, for the Portsmouth and Southampton district health authority areas; and if he will provide a breakdown of these figures between capital and revenue expenditure in each case.
