§ Mr. Bill Walkerasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department (1) if he has any plans to include airlines in the bodies authorised to inspect intending passenger passports;
(2) if he has any plans to introduce legislation to allow airlines the right to inspect passports of intending passengers.
§ Mr. WaddingtonAirlines are already able to examine the documents of passengers leaving the United Kingdom on their flights. We have no plans to introduce legislation for this purpose.
