§ Mr. John MacKayCentrally held unit cost figures for colleges of education are only available for complete institutions; for the 1985–86 financial year the net costs are £3,781 at Jordanhill college of education and £4,796 at Dunfermline college of physical education. I do not expect additional costs to the Exchequer to arise as a direct consequence of the integration of PE students at the Cramond site. The Scottish Education Department examined the financial consequences of various options224W for the future arrangements for PE training before my right hon. and learned Friend announced his decision on 17 July, in reaching which he had regard also to educational and accommodation factors.
