§ Mr. MacGregorDecisions on the funding of public services are taken in the annual public expenditure survey. This takes account not only of the Government's priorities for public expenditure, but also such factors as value for money. My right hon. Friend the Chancellor of the Exchequer will be publishing expenditure plans for the next three years in his forthcoming autumn statement.
