§ Mr. DunnThe Government accepted last year that mid-day supervision should not be a duty of teachers under their contracts of employment as teachers. We have made education support grant available to assist local education 104W authorities to recruit mid-day supervisors: these may be teachers employed under separate contracts, or non-teaching staff.
