§ Mr. FreemanSome members of the Iraqi armed forces received training at Ministry of Defence establishments in the United Kingdom in each of the years 1981 to 1986. A small number of Iranian military personnel also received training at defence establishments in the United Kingdom from 1981 until the financial year 1983–84. It is not our policy to reveal the details of training provided to foreign armed forces since such agreements are confidential between Her Majesty's Government and the Governments concerned.
