§ Mr. ChopeI am not aware of any approach to Councillor Hodge by my right hon. Friend or his predecessors in connection with the London residuary body. Councillor Hodge recently wrote to my right hon. Friend asking to be appointed as a member. She was informed that he sees no need at present to make further appointments to the body.
