§ Mr. Freesonasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what representations (a) he has made and (b) he proposes to make to the Austrian Government following President Waldheim's installation as commander-in-chief of the Austrian armed forces in the light of the provisions of article 12 of the Austrian state treaty of 15 May 1955 in relation to membership of Nazi organisations; and if he will make a statement.
