§ Mr. Craigenasked the Secretary of State for Scotland what was the number of urban aid projects reaching the expiry of their funding during the current financial year 1986–87; and if he will permit, without ratecapping penalties, the inclusion of selected projects within the mainstream expenditure of local authorities.
§ Mr. AncramThe funding of about 180 projects assisted under the urban programme expires during 1986–87. Decisions on the future of these projects are for local authorities to take within the resources available to them.
