§ Mr. ViggersSupport for the establishement and growth of small businesses in Northern Ireland is largely channelled through the Local Enterprise Development 953W Unit, funded by Government. The unit's resources are being strengthened to intensify efforts on stimulating the growth of existing small businesses. Among other Government measures, the enterprise allowance scheme and training facilities also encourage people to set up and develop small businesses.
