§ Mr. Strangasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what was the final proposal on intermediate nuclear forces in Europe which was provisionally agreed between the United States of America and the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics at the Reykjavik summit; and if he will make a statement on the Government's policy towards a separate agreement on intermediate nuclear forces which would involve the removal of all SS20, cruise and Pershing II missiles from Europe.
§ Mr. RentonAt the Reykjavik meeting between President Reagan and Mr. Gorbachev a global ceiling of 100 LRINF warheads was provisionally agreed. All the Soviet systems would be deployed in Asia and the United States systems in the United States. We welcome any equal global limit on LRINF.
