Member for Mid-Sussex (Mr. Renton), indicating Her Majesty's Government's policy towards the recent talks between President Mubarak of Egypt and King Hussein of Jordan; and what role Her Majesty's Government see for the Palestine Liberation Organisation in any peace negotiations.
§ Mr. RentonI held useful talks in Sudan, Egypt and Jordan and reaffirmed our support for efforts to achieve a just and lasting settlement of the Arab/Israel dispute: we believe that representatives of the Palestinian people have an important part to play in peace negotiations.
