§ 15. Mr. Dalyellasked the Secretary of State for Scotland whether he will initiate a review of the system of remuneration for dentists, and dental charges for retirement pensioners and students.
§ Mr. John MacKayWe have no plans to review the remuneration arrangements. Many pensioners receive full or partial remission of charges on grounds of low income. Students receive assistance with dental charges according to their personal circumstances. The Government have no plans to alter any of these arrangements.
