Mr. Wareing

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment what consultations he has had with the board of trustees of the national museums and galleries on Merseyside since its inception indicating which subjects were discussed.

I have been asked to reply.

I have formal or informal discussions from time to time with trustees of the national museums and galleries funded from the arts budget. Such discussions cover a wide range of subjects.

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will publish the names and occupations of the members of the board of trustees of the national museums and galleries on Merseyside.
