§ Mr. TraceyDevelopment finance for registered housing associations' projects for fair rent and low cost home ownership is provided either by the Housing Corporation within the approved development programme agreed by this Department, or by local authorities within their housing investment programmes, or by the private sector. The Department then pays housing association grant on completion of the projects. The Department does not hold information on private sector funding. The figures for Housing Corporation and local authority investment in providing homes either by newbuild or rehabilitation are as follows:
