§ Baroness TrumpingtonThe Department of Health and Social Security is in contact with the London Borough of Lambeth in relation to its child care responsibilities. The borough's staff recruitment policy has now been relaxed to enable more vacancies to be filled and additional provision has been made for child protection work.
