§ Mr. Norman LamontGovernment revenues from United Kingdom oil and gas production amounted to £2.7 billion in the first seven months of the 1986–87 financial year. The 1986 "Autumn Statement" contained a forecast of £4½ billion for the whole financial year. The figures for financial years are as follows:
