In how many years the value of money would be halved if the annual inflation rate were (a) 2 per cent., (b) 2½ per cent., (c) 3 per cent., (d) 4 per cent.

Lord Young of Graffham

The value of money would be halved in about 35 years if the annual inflation rate were 2 per cent., 28 years if it were 2½ per cent., 23 years if it were 3 per cent. and 18 years if it were 4 per cent.
