§ Mr. LyellThe law provides that where a person makes a late claim for unemployment benefit he cannot receive payment for days before he claimed unless he can show good cause for claiming late. We receive occasional representations from or on behalf of claimants who are not happy about the way the time limits affect their claims but I am not aware of any general dissatisfaction.
