§ Mr. Wyn RobertsThe provision of resources for the education of children with special educational needs is a matter for local education authorities. They receive help in meeting these needs through the rate support grant.
Help is also available through a specific direction of resources, via education Support Grants; these are for the provision of microelectronic equipment and computerised learning aids.
Resources are also provided centrally for a project which is establishing the requirements of children with special educational needs when they are integrated into ordinary schools.
