Mr. Robin Cook

asked the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry if he intends to appoint inspectors to report on information received by his Department from the Securities and Exchange Commission arising from its investigation into the dealing of Mr. Boesky; and if he will make a statement.

I am always ready to appoint inspectors where there is a good reason to do so.
