Hospital Expenditure (Hansard, 24 November 1986)

§ Mr. Dobson

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services (1) if he will give for 1985–86 for each health authority the total expenditure on hospital catering, the total expenditure on services provided to hospitals by private catering companies, the latter figure as a percentage of the former and the difference between that percentage and the percentage in 1984–85;

(2) if he will give for 1985–86 for each health authority the total expenditure on hospital cleaning, the total expenditure on services provided to hospitals by private cleaning companies, the latter figure as a percentage of the former and the difference between that percentage and the percentage in 1984–85;

(3) if he will give for 1985–86 for each health authority the total expenditure on hospital laundry, the total expenditure on services provided to hospitals by private laundry companies, the latter figure as a percentage of the former and the difference between that percentage and the percentage in 1984–85;
