§ 26. Mr. Amessasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will make a statement about the proposed building of a new courthouse in Basildon.
§ Mr. MellorEssex county council is responsible for providing the new magistrates' court, in consultation with the magistrates' courts committee. The council has submitted details of the accommodation to be provided and we are now awaiting further information to enable us to set the cost limit for the scheme.
