§ Mr. WaldegraveUnder the normal public expenditure planning cycle, all expenditure programmes are reviewed annually. This includes discussion about the expenditure incurred by the Historic Buildings and Monuments Commission specifically on the maintenance and upkeep of ancient monuments. In general I am satisfied that the commission is devoting an adequate proportion of its resources to this task.
