§ Mr. EggarOn behalf of the European Community my right hon. and learned Friend made it clear to the United Nations General Assembly on 23 September that the Soviet Union should implement the principles that must underly a solution in Afghanistan — principles which were again massively endorsed by international community on 5 November—and withdraw all its troops from Afghanistan without delay.
