HC Deb 17 November 1986 vol 105 c55W
Mr. Craigen

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland what discussions his officials have had with the governors of Queen's College, Glasgow regarding the future development of the college.

Mr. John MacKay

Consultations are proceeding between the Scottish Education Department and the Queen's college, Glasgow, on the possible transfer to the college of certain paramedical courses which are currently the responsibility of the National Health Service. This matter is linked with the provision of additional accommodation for the college at Eldon street, on which final decisions have not yet been taken.
