HC Deb 17 November 1986 vol 105 c44W
Mr. Rooker

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he has anything to add to the figures in his Department's "Report on the Inquiry into the Condition of the Local Authority Housing Stock in England, 1985", published November 1985.

Mr. John Patten

No. The inquiry report contained a comprehensive analysis, based on all the material we received.

Mr. Rooker

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment how many local authority dwellings have been demolished since 1979; and how many of these had outstanding debt of less than 20 years, between 20 and 40 years and greater than 40 years.

Mr. John Patten

Statistical returns to my Department of dwelling demolitions do not separately identify those which were constructed for local authorities nor is information available on the debts outstanding on any of these dwellings which have been demolished.
