§ Mr. David Marshallasked the Secretary of State for Transport how many services registered under the Transport Act 1985 and which were due to come into operation on 26 or 27 October did not in fact operate.
§ Mr. David MitchellAlthough some initial teething problems with the new system of bus registration were inevitable I am pleased to say that no major examples of services failing to operate have come to my attention. Where continuing problems have arisen they will be thoroughly investigated by the Traffic Commissioners.
