asked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he proposes any adjustment to the new towns cash limit in 1986–87.

Mr. John Patten

The cash limit is currently £— 85.7 million and is being adjusted to £—95.7 million in the light of an increase in the receipts which are forecast for this year.
