asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will make a statement on the present policy on the medium-term financial strategy.

§ Mr. MacGregor
The medium-term financial strategy provides the framework for economic policy which has successfully reduced inflation to 3 per cent. and created the conditions for over five years of growth.
