(2) what happened to the equipment valued at £1.84 million originally bought for the cardiac block at Great Ormond street hospital; and how much of it is included in the estimated cost of equipment for the rehabilitated block.
§ Mrs. CurrieItems of equipment originally bought for the cardiac block at Great Ormond street hospital have either been redeployed elsewhere in the NHS or stored for use in the rehabilitated cardiac block. Additional equipment is now being purchased for the rehabilitation block at an estimated cost of £2.5 million, this sum being offset by approximately £450,000 received in respect of equipment sold. Expenditure of about £350,000 has been incurred in respect of costs associated with storage, testing and installation of the equipment originally purchased.
