§ Dr. Godmanasked the Secretary of State for Scotland (1) if he will list those health boards which have district-wide computerised cervical cancer call and recall schemes in operation;
(2) if he will list those health boards which do not have district-wide cervical cancer call and recall schemes in operation but which have plans to do so, giving the estimated date of introduction in each case.
§ Mr. John MacKayTayside health board intends to have its computerised cervical cancer call and recall566W scheme in full operation in early 1987. Grampian health board is currently developing a similar computerised scheme.
In addition the following health boards have various cervical cancer call and recall systems in operation:
- Argyll and Clyde Health Board
- Ayrshire and Arran Health Board
- Borders Health Board
- Dumfries and Galloway Health Board
- Fife Health Board
- Highland Health Board
- Lothian Health Board
- Shetland Health Board
- Western Isles Health Board
