§ Mrs. CurrieYes. In studies such as these it is vital that great care be taken to ensure the accuracy of the data collected, even if this results in some delay. According to the latest information received by the Department these studies are expected to be completed by January 1987.

§ Mrs. CurrieNo. We have no reason to believe additional funding would speed up completion of these studies. The total cost to the Department and approximate duration estimated for these studies are shown in the table; the recommendations 2 and 3 studies are combined as they have been jointly funded.
