HC Deb 06 November 1986 vol 103 cc531-2W
Mr. Kirkwood

asked the paymaster General how much has been spent on the "Action for Jobs" advertising campaign, nationally and regionally; how he expects to assess its effects; and what effects he expects it to have.

Mr. Lee

[pursuant to his reply, 30 October 1986, c. 215]: There was an error in the information contained in my previous reply. About £6.5 million has been spent so far on "Action for Jobs" advertising. This represents 0.2 per cent. of the total expenditure of £3 billion this year on more than 30 employment, enterprise and training measures described in the "Action for Jobs" booklet.
