§ Mr. LyellOfficials of the Department are reviewing the procedures for establishing whether people are self-employed for National Insurance purposes. The aims of this review include ensuring that advice is readily available at an early stage in cases of doubt and that the criteria of establishing self-employed status are consistently applied.
