HC Deb 04 November 1986 vol 103 c415W
Mr. Gareth Wardell

asked the Secretary of State for Wales if his Department has undertaken any studies to assess the number of working days lost in Wales annually as a result of alcohol consumption.

Mr. Mark Robinson

No. However, a study into the health, social and economic costs of alcohol misuse in England and Wales has been funded from the DHSS/Welsh Office research and development budget.
