§ Mr. HayhoeThe National Radiological Protection Board reviews annually the number of staff allocated to each of its areas of work, including emergency arrangements, in order to ensure that it has adequate staff in each area, taking account of priorities and available resources. Staff are taken from other work to meet short-term demands when necessary. The board's headquarters at Chilton is served by 16 telephone lines; additional lines are provided temporarily when required. The board is undertaking a review of its communication facilities.
