§ Mr. Waldegrave[pursuant to his reply, 21 May 1986]: The emergency reference levels applied in the United Kingdom are recommended by the National Radiological Protection Board and are consistent with the international recommendations. Different levels may have been adopted in other countries but we have no information about the methods of calculation employed.
