Additionally, outpatient facilities were provided, in 1979 and 1985, at ophthalmic clinics (in Anglesey, Caernarfon and Meirionnydd), a gynaecology clinic (Porthmadog), ante-natal clinics (at several locations), at Pwllheli health centre, Bala and Maes Dervv In 1985, but not in 1979, out patient clinics were also held at Madyn road (Amlwch), St. David's priory (Holyhead) and at Criccieth and Llanfair P G health centre. The numbers of medical, dental and nursing staff employed by the Gwynedd health authority are given in the table.
