§ Ms. Harman asked the Secretary of State for Social Services (1) if he will make a statement on ambulance services for out-patients attending Hilda Lewis house at Bethlem royal hospital;
§ (2) what transport arrangements will be made for out-patients attending Hilda Lewis house at the Bethlem royal hospital after the amnbulance service ends.
§ Mr. HayhoeI understand that the London amnbulance service, the Inner London education authority and the Bethlem Royal and Maudsley hospitals are currently discussing the matter. In the meantime transport is being provided by the London ambulance service on the same basis as previously.
