§ Mrs. Renée Shortasked the Secretary of State for Social Services what resources he has allocated to the Health Education Council for its programme on whooping cough.
§ Mr. WhitneyIn the year ending March 1986, the Health Education Council, which is Government funded, allocated 100,000 towards a whooping cough campaign which the Department augmented with a further £480,000. The scope for additional effort in this field during 1986–87 is being assessed with the council.
