§ Mr. Peter BottomleyI have accepted an invitation to attend the launch of National Bike Week at the Royal Festival Hall on 22 May. We wholeheartedly endorse the efforts of the voluntary organisations who are associated with this event. We particularly welcome initiatives within National Bike Week which help to emphasise the measures needed to increase safety. We shall continue to share with local authorities the importance of taking account of cyclists' needs.
