What restitution has been made to claimants for board and lodging charges whose payments were in arrears for the period 29th April to 24th November 1985 as a result of the Court of Appeal ruling on 13th December 1985.
§ The Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State, Department of Health and Social Security (Baroness Trumpington)Information to date shows that some £3 million has been paid in respect of arrears of supplementary benefit to some 25,000 individual claimants whose charges were reported to have exceeded the benefit limits that were introduced from 29th April 1985.
