§ Mr. Scott[pursuant to his reply, 13 May 1986, c. 425]: Detailed statistics on the number of recruitment inquiries received from GB forces about Royal Ulster Constabulary officers are not available prior to 1 January 1986 and could be obtained only at disproportionate cost. From 1 January to 2 May 1986 the number of recruitment inquiries from GB forces in respect of Royal Ulster Constabulary officers was 43.
