§ Mr. Nichollsasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs whether Her Majesty's Government decided to renew their commitment to the Sinai multinational force and observers when it expired on 20 April.
§ Mr. RentonThe multinational force and observers has been informed by means of an exchange of notes, which will be published in due course in the treaty series, that the United Kingdom's participation in the MFO will be continued for an additional period of one year beginning on 21 April 1986. Our participation will continue for a further period of one year thereafter unless Her Majesty's Government decide to inform the MFO at least 90 days prior to the expiry of the initial one year term of the United Kingdom's intention to terminate its participation.
