§ The Prime MinisterThroughout the Spanish accession negotiations there was continuous close coordination between the Government Departments concerned, including the Foreign and Commonwealth Office and the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food. This level of co-operation has continued since the application of the common agricultural policy to Spain on 1 March.
