HC Deb 12 May 1986 vol 97 c365W
Mr. Tony Banks

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he is keeping any information on voluntary organisations which have lost their funding following abolition of the Greater London council; and if he will make a statement.

Sir George Young

[pursuant to his answer, 9 May 1986, c. 300]: Funding for individual voluntary groups is a matter for the boroughs, and information is not collected by my Department. My discussion with London boroughs and with bodies representing London voluntary organisations indicate that funding in London is continuing at an adequate level.
